The production of rigid paper packages like cups or boxes from Huhtamaki generally starts with the process of printing paper rolls, which then are punched and formed. microglyph Codes are either directly integrated into the product design and printed as “pre-printed” codes by e.g. rotogravour printing. “Post-printed” codes are marked by various lasermarking- or inline printing processes.

Rigid Plastics

Production of rigid plastic packages from Huhtamaki incorporates extrusion, thermoforming and injection molding technologies. New solutions are constantly emerging. microglyph codes are marked directly on such materials by printing- or various lasermarking processes. In either case the codes are unobtrusive and very robust.
